DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?
We recommend making a reservation on our online booking system, but we also allow walk-in bookings during business hours (subject to availability).
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?
Public booked lane (1 hr): up to 6 people
Private booked tournaments: 7+ people
Private/Corporate Events: Please let us know in advance if you have a large group so we can be sure there is space and staff available.

ARE SPECTATORS ALLOWED?
You bet! Spectators are more than welcome at no cost to come and cheer on friends, family and colleagues. There are limits on occupancy so we ask that you notify us of extra people when you book so we are sure to have space.
CAN I THROW IF I AM PREGNANT?
Yes. We trust your judgement, but recommend you ask your Doctor before participating to be sure.
CAN I BRING A SMALL CHILD/INFANT?
Yes. Children and infants are welcome as spectators, but they must be closely monitored by a parent or guardian at all times as there are axes being thrown. Please note that our facility is loud and the noise may upset young children.
SAFETY
IS AXE THROWING SAFE?
Yes. With any physical activity or sport, there is a degree of risk present. Golden Axe staff are trained and knowledgable, and conduct safety training with each player before throwing begins.There are many safety measures in place, and players are monitored by staff to ensure a fun and safe experience is had by all. We also have a no tolerance policy for excessive drinking; we will remove intoxicated players from the premises.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes. We are fully insured.
DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER TO THROW?
Yes. All players must sign a liability waiver before throwing.
WHAT TO BRING
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Close toe shoes are mandatory. That means no shoes that leave the top of your foot exposed, and no thongs/flip-flips/sandals. We don’t recommend high heels either.
Comfortable clothing is recommended. Clothing that doesn’t restrict upper body movement is best.
CAN I BRING MY OWN AXE?
No. All players must use the equipment provided by Golden Axe Throw Club for safety purposes.
